Bored and alone isn't the same as bored. Here's what to do about the alone part - ways to talk to someone in the next ten minutes - and what to do if you'd rather not.

There's bored, and there's bored and alone, and they're not the same problem. Bored wants something to do. Bored and alone wants someone to do it near. A list of hobbies doesn't fix the second one, and most lists pretend it does.
So this page is split in two. The first half is about the alone part. The second half is about being fine with it.
If you want a person, in the next ten minutes
The internet is good at this and bad at admitting it. There are people right now who'd like a conversation, and a few places where finding them is easy.
