SpicyChat is a web-based adult roleplay platform built around community characters and a no-filter policy for adults. The free tier is one of the more generous in this space, which is why it's popular. Paid tiers get you queue priority and larger context (better memory within a scene). The interface is simple and the character library is big and well tagged. It's explicitly an adult site, and it says so on the door.
What SpicyChat is
SpicyChat.AI is an adult character-chat platform: user-made chatbots, NSFW allowed, roleplay first. It calls itself "NSFW AI chatbots and roleplay for adults" in its own title. You can create a free account and start chatting; there are premium tiers behind the Get Premium button whose prices appear once you're logged in, so we're not listing numbers here.
Paying, and the ways it can go wrong
SpicyChat's support docs spend most of their space on payment plumbing, which tells you where users get stuck. Card subscriptions through the website activate instantly. Pay By Bank is a one-time payment that does not auto-renew and may take time on first use. Boosty subscriptions activate within about 15 minutes but only if your Boosty email matches your SpicyChat email. Crypto payments through CoinPayments are linked manually by the team within about six hours during Eastern daytime. If your email differs across platforms, contact support with your SpicyChat details. A Manage Subscription button in your profile handles website subscriptions; the alternative payment routes don't show it.
Moderation and support
The docs say the support team and moderators are available around the clock, and that Discord is the fastest way to get help because the moderation team is most active there. That's useful to know before you email.
Terms and operator
The terms define the product plainly: chats, avatars and conversations are fictional and shouldn't be taken as real-life situations or advice, and AI-generated chats can be unpredictable, so you bear the risk of relying on them. The terms page shows a last-updated date of May 4, 2023. The privacy policy names NextDay AI EU Ltd in Limassol, Cyprus. Login is offered through third-party social accounts as well.
SpicyChat against the alternatives
Of the three unfiltered communities, Janitor is free with a strong safety page, CrushOn publishes its tier ladder, and SpicyChat keeps prices behind login but has the most detailed payment-support docs. Table below.

SpicyChat does what it says on the label: adult roleplay with community characters, free to start, premium behind login.
