Bazoocam review: what it is, who it's for
Random video chat with built-in games to play while you talk, and a mostly European crowd.
Checked September 14, 2026 · bazoocam.org
Bazoocam started in France and still has a European feel, with a lot of French, Spanish and Italian speakers. Its one odd and lovable feature is games: you can play simple multiplayer games with the stranger you're matched with, which gives shy people something to do with their hands. No account, no download. The site is a bit dated in looks and the crowd is smaller than the global players, but it's a different kind of room.
Games as an icebreaker
Tetris, four-in-a-row, that sort of thing - not deep, but a real conversation starter. Two people who'd have skipped each other end up laughing at a game for ten minutes. If you find the first few seconds of a video call unbearable, this is the workaround.
Language
Expect French first. English works, but you'll meet more people if you can manage a bit of French or Spanish. There's a location-based matching option that prioritises people near you.
Moderation is present but not heavy. It's a small site with a loyal crowd rather than a big machine.
- Mini games inside the chat
- No account, no app needed
- Distinct European crowd
- Small pool, especially outside European hours
- Dated interface
- Mostly French and Spanish speakers
